HR Manager

SF Recruitment has partnered with a dynamic retail business launching operations in the West Midlands. The business places high value on HR, making this role pivotal to its success. Office location will be Birmingham, but you will also be supporting another site in the Stourbridge area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development: Create, update, and implement company policies in line with current legislation and business needs.
- Operational HR Administration: Oversee all HR functions including:
o Employee relations
o Onboarding new employees
o Managing leavers, terminations, and redeployments
o Enhancing absence management processes
- Time and Attendance: Manage the time and attendance system to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
- Managerial Support: Coach and guide managers on various people-related issues, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing managerial effectiveness.
- Travel: Be prepared for occasional travel and overnight stays as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
- CIPD Qualification: Essential
- HR Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a generalist HR role
- Retail Experience: Preferred but not essential; must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Standalone Role Experience: Must have experience working independently in an HR capacity
