Our client is a well-established accountancy firm based in Mayfair. The firm have an open, friendly culture and have enjoyed impressive growth in recent years.

The firm are now looking to recruit a HR & Office Manager. This is a stand-alone position where you will play a key role in the day-to-day operational running of the practice.

Your role will cover all aspects of human resources, including:

- Issuing contracts of employment
- Annual pay & performance reviews
- Employee Relations, including dealing with disciplinary issues
- Managing the process for recruitment; including onboarding new staff

Office management responsibilities will include:

- Dealing with suppliers, maintenance contracts, cleaning companies etc.
- Space planning in the office
- Overseeing the office admin function
- Fire safety protocol

This role would suit someone who is decisive and efficient, with good diplomacy skills, as you will interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and reputable firm which organises regular social events for its staff.

To be considered for this opportunity you must:

- Have a minimum of 5 years HR experience within a small/medium sized business
- Have a solid understanding of UK employment legislation
- Be able to commute to London 5 days a week (hybrid working is available after probation)
- Ideally be CIPD qualified, but applicants with extensive experience will also be considered

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar HR & Office Manager / Practice Manager role or a pure HR role within a professional services firm with fee earners (e.g. an accountancy firm / law firm / architectural practice).
