On behalf of our client, a niche and innovative packaging manufacturer based in West Yorkshire, we’re seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their growing team. This business is at the forefront of its sector, recently investing £100 million into state-of-the-art facility upgrades and technology enhancements – making it an exciting time to join.

About the Role:

• Position: HR Officer
• Location: West Yorkshire
• Salary: Circa £38,000
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide generalist HR support across the business, from employee relations to recruitment and development
• Be a visible presence on the shop floor, engaging with staff and fostering a positive workplace culture
• Support the management team with HR advice, policy implementation, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
• Assist in delivering key HR initiatives aligned with the company’s ambitious growth plans

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Proven experience in a similar HR Officer or HR Generalist role, ideally within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
• Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 or above qualified
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
• Attributes: Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable with plenty of on-the-ground engagement
