HR Operations Manager

Position: HR Operations ManagerLocation: London, UKEmployment Type: Full-TimeSalary: circa £50k

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Lead the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection and onboarding.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts, fostering a positive work environment.
    • Promote a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion within the company.
  • Performance Management:
    • Implement performance appraisal systems and provide guidance on performance improvement.
    • Support managers in setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
  • Compliance and Policy Development:
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
    • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
    • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • HR Administration:
    • Oversee HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits, and record-keeping.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CIPD certification is a plus.
