Title: HR & Payroll Administrator (fixed term)

Location: Dawlish

Duration: 2 Months

Hours: 42 hours per week, Full time 9:00am - 5:30pm

Salary: £14 - £15 per hour

The Company: A well established and long-standing Construction company, who operate out of the Southwest providing contractors across the UK in many industries. The company has benefited from significant growth over the last few years and offers its staff development and progression.

The Role

You will primarily be supporting the Office Manager, working within the role of HR and Payroll Administrator. You will be the first point of call for employees regarding HR administration matters, as well as overseeing and supporting across payroll. You will ensure accurate timesheet submission and prepare payroll data. A varied and fast paced role also providing administration support across the office and working within a fun a light-hearted team dynamic!

Key Duties

· Office and administration support

· Answering phone and emails, dealing with inquiries promptly and directing them to appropriate individuals

  • Prepare payroll data, including new starters/leavers, tax code changes, sick pay, etc.
  • Accurately check timesheets
  • Customer invoicing

· Adhoc duties as instructed by the Office Manager

· Assist in maintaining and updating company database

About You

· Proven Administrative Experience

· Confident in using Microsoft Office platforms

· Highly organised and strong time management

· Self-motivated and able to use initiative

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Time management and able to prioritise work load

Excellent communication, and strong written and verbal communication skills
