VisionFR are delighted to be acting on behalf of an award winning creative agency. They offer a great working environment and are now looking for an exceptional HR/People Manager who shares their passion for people.

This terrific opportunity will require a thorough understanding of UK employment laws and regulations in order to provide support and guidance. The role will involve providing end-to-end HR support throughout the employee life cycle. This will include partnering with managers to offer valuable coaching and development opportunities. This role sits within the HR & Operations team and offers autonomy and the chance to make a significant impact within the organisation.

HR/People Manager key responsibilities will include:

  • Support team members through all stages of their employee experience
  • Manage the recruitment process and assist Head of Departments with job descriptions, giving support across all levels and build tools for future effectiveness
  • Draft contracts, contract amendments and all other necessary administration needed for any type of employment change.
  • Maintain all processes in place, and regularly assess ways of working for maximum effectiveness.
  • Manage and maintain HRIS ; producing relevant and accurate reports.
  • Coach managers through Employee Relations
  • Ensure the effective management of talent performance across all departments, working closely with line managers to achieve talent density within the business.
  • Draft and update policy & procedure documents proactively and in line with UK legislative changes.
  • Manage right to work and visa processes, ensuring compliant across all locations.
  • Own ad-hoc improvement projects, from conception to embedding.
  • Manage and coordinate quarterly employee surveys, making recommendations from analysis of results.

HR/People Manager key attributes required:

  • Solutions-focused attitude
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar HR role.
  • Ideally a minimum CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • SME agency experience is essential
  • Approachable and visible within the business
  • Ability to advise and influence
  • Experience leading small projects and embedding new initiatives
  • Recruitment and ATS management experience preferable.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using HRIS systems and manipulating data
  • Strong leadership skills to coach and mentor employees as well as counsel managers at all levels
