About the company

Our client a leader in the manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced HSE professional to join their team in the Leicestershire area. Our client will provide support to achieve your NEBOSH Certificate so H&S qualifications are not required to apply.

HSE Advisor - Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Experience working within a printing & packaging/manufacturing environment prefered
  • NEBOSH General Certificate - preferred but not essential
  • Interested in learning and continued professional development
  • Ability to adapt and engage at all levels whilst working as part of a dynamic team.
  • Providing day-to-day advice and guidance to the various management and site leaders
  • Ensuring risk assessments and safe systems of work are current and briefed to the relevant staff.
  • Co-ordinating and carrying out safety audits.
  • Implementing and upkeep of the BRC-IOP hygiene standard.
  • Co-ordinating and carrying out BRC-IOP audits.
  • Developing and maintaining a positive culture within the site.
  • General health and safety queries, reviewing risk assessments and dealing with general health and safety documentation amongst other duties.
  • Good IT skills
