HSE Manager
A British Engineering provider are looking for a new QHSE Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a newly created position due to company growth. The business transport and install large structures and critical assets needed to build and renew major infrastructure.
As the QHSE Manager you will work with the operations teams to improve the company’s current health and safety systems, and to work closely with the site teams to bring improvement and change.
You will need:
QHSE experience in the construction industry or similar such as lifting. oil & gas, renewables
NEBOSH Certificate
Basic awareness of planning/logistics processes
Quality/audit experience
High level of self-motivation and self-management ability plus the ability to work well as part of a team
What you will be doing:
Support the development of a strong Health and Safety focused culture across the Group and promote good safety behaviours
Liaise with employees, subcontractors and suppliers on Health and Safety matters as required
Coaching and supporting project teams to generate new solutions to common, everyday issues
Bringing new and creative thinking to the business whilst still maintaining exceptional H&S standards
Undertaking audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on the findings
