Yolk Recruitment is proud to be assisting the recruitment for an EHS Manager for an FMCG company based in Gloucestershire.

This is a global company who have recently expanded and built a new site, for which you would be responsible for creating and implanting Health and Safety policy and procedures.

This is an exciting to time to join a growing manufacturer and to put your own ideas into practice!

This is what you'll be doing as HSE Manager:

  • Implementing ISO 45001 and 14001 into the plant
  • Lead efforts to improve safety and environmental compliance for applicable programs. Lead direct reports, leaders and partners that support the programs.
  • Lead EHS team in development, maintenance and improvement of applicable Environmental, Health and Safety written programs.
  • Responsible for tracking and meeting deadlines for all Safety and Environmental Programs
  • Oversee and administer Safety and Environmental training in the plant.
  • Know and understand the Safety and Environmental SOPs.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and leaders to identify root cause of incidents such as spills, safety incidents, recordables and other EHS issues
  • Stay current and attend required Safety and Environmental training to maintain required certifications.
  • Accountable for plant safety budget

The experience you will bring as HSE Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or License / Certification in Occupational Safety, Health, or Environmental fields if accompanied by relevant experience and demonstrated performance.
  • +6 years of experience Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental Safety in Manufacturing Environment.
  • Knowledge of Safety and Environmental permitting, regulations and requirements for industrial applications is desired. Proven ability to provide timely documentation and excellent organisational skills is required.
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • IOSH member
