HSEC Risk, Systems and Assurance Advisor
Northfleet - onsite 
£45,000 - £60,000

The HSE Recruitment Network have partnered with a leading supplier of strategic minerals & metal products for a Health, Safety, Environment, & Community Risk, Systems and Assurance Advisor to join their team based in Northfleet on a permanent basis.

The HSEC Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing the existing HSE management systems, legislation and best practice, alongside supporting the Head of HSEC to implement and maintain the IMS documents and systems. The successful candidate will be the point of contact for accreditation and certifications ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001. They will carry out the internal audit programme to ensure all work carried out is aligned with the company policies and standards. The advisor will support multiple departments with managing their HSEC capabilities and helping to improve them.

Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Ideally come from a steel/commodities manufacturing industry, however open to seeing people from manufacturing, heavy industry, M&E sectors
  • Holds a lead auditor qualification or has previous experience of this
  • Experience in developing and implementing HSEC management systems
  • NEBOSH Diploma would be advantageous 
  • Experience on lower or upper tier COMAH sites would be advantageous 
  • Can-do attitude, willingness, accountability, driven
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & MS Project)
  • Will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and deliver on Health & Safety and Environmental initiatives
