Job Title: HSEQ Manager

Location: Redditch

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated HSEQ Compliance Manager to join a leading company in the arboriculture and landscaping industry, based in Redditch. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • HSEQ Strategy Development: Develop and implement robust HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Training and Development: Provide HSEQ training to staff and promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness across the organization.
  • Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses, ensuring thorough analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all projects meet high standards and client expectations.
  • Environmental Management: Implement and manage environmental policies, focusing on sustainability and minimizing the ecological footprint.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all operations comply with relevant HSEQ legislation and standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience in an HSEQ role, preferably within the arboriculture, landscaping, or construction industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSEQ regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Relevant certifications in HSEQ management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
