Human Resources Advisor

Castlefield Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading healthcare organisation that requires an experienced Human Resources Advisor for a six month fixed term contract with potential extension. If you are an experienced HR professional seeking a new interim assignment, are ambitious, enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a team, then this organisation would like to hear from you. This role will be based remotely, with an initial visit to the client site to collect IT equipment and for an induction day.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Deliver a professional service for managers by liaising continually with Human Resources team
  • Promote the development of an HR service which fosters a ‘customer service’ focus in a way which demonstrates how HR can improve the client experience
  • Provide advice and guidance on Agenda for Change terms and conditions, and local agreements in place, and ensure the fair and effective operation of the organisations systems for pay and conditions
  • Work with customers to ensure the development and implementation of the organisations attendance policy and procedures to minimise sickness absence
  • Using Electronic Staff Records (ESR) to identify workforce requirements for customers, ensuring that suitable workforce information is provided
  • Prepare HR reports which analyse the data and outline solutions to any identified issues or patterns

Key experience and skills will include;

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area
  • CIPD part/ fully qualified
  • Sound understanding of HR policies and procedures and employment legislation
  • Excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely and accurately for diverse audiences
  • Ability to work on own initiative and organise workload, without supervision, working to tight and often changing deadlines
