Interim Human Resources Officer

Part-time (3 days), Maternity Cover

Full time Equivalent Salary: £35-42,000 (please note this salary will be pro-rated on part-time basis)

Location: Enfield (EN2)

I am thrilled to exclusively partner with Springdene Care Homes, who have been caring for their local communities since 1969 and offer luxurious, state-of-the-art care across three homes in North London.

We're currently seeking a dynamic HR Officer to join their warm and welcoming People team. This role presents a unique opportunity for someone experienced in employee relations as well as HR Systems Administration, Management Information, and broader Human Resources initiatives. Commencing at the start of July, this is a part-time maternity cover position working three days per week.

As part of a close-knit team of HR professionals, you'll play a vital role in providing comprehensive HR support across Springdene Care Homes Group. Your responsibilities will include providing a comprehensive HR service covering full employee life cycle, administering the HR Information System (Cascade), generating regular management reports, conducting employee surveys, support with the annual appraisal and pay review process, working with the Senior People Manager on employee relations cases, ensuring HR policies and procedures are carried out effectively.

This is an office based role, however some flexibility could be discussed if required. Springdene Care Homes head office is located in a beautifully presented residential home, Springview, between the greens of Enfield golf course. Less than 10 minutes away from train station and only few minutes walk to the town's busy high street.

You will have the following experience:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years experience working within a Human Resources setting with a knowledge of employment legislation, HR processes and an understanding of the need for compliance
  • Experience of HRIS implementation and administration
  • Good project management experience including management information, annual appraisals and pay reviews, employee engagement surveys
  • Ideally, previous experience in the service/care/health sector
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail - able to audit processes and the work of others
  • Strong IT skills: advanced user of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
