We are recruiting for a Humanties Teacher for a Mainstream Secondary School in Tower Hamlets.
The school are looking to take on a Humanities Teacher from September 2024.
This school aims to provide the best education to every pupil, regardless of background, within an inspiring and supportive environment. Embedded within it's diamond structure is the expectation that pupils are not only purposeful and tenacious in their endeavours, but also tolerant and supportive of each other, underlining their views that when children feel valued and known, they can grow into happy and successful adults.

Humanities Teacher role & responsibilities:
? Plan and deliver engaging subject specific lessons
? Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils
? Follow and implement school policies and procedures
? Work coherently as part of a team within the subject department
? Elements of lesson planning and marking may be required
Humanities Teacher Non-negotiables:
? Recent and relevant teaching experience
? UK-recognised teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status
? Excellent subject specific knowledge
? Confidence delivering the Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum
? Ability to work under the guidance of the Head of Department
