HV Commissioning Engineer

Are you an experienced and talented HV Commissioning Engineer looking for your next challenge?

You could be joining a team of 35 field based engineers delivering top-notch installation, maintenance, and product support services for LV/HV assets across London, South East, and East of England (dependent on your home location).

As a key member of a highly skilled Engineering division who form a small but critical part of a much larger organisation, you'll support various LV/HV services for a wide variety of sectors. You'll have the opportunity to both support your peers and lead projects, all while advancing your technical skills and knowledge.

You’ll be home-based travelling to various site works, with core hours from 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:00 on Fridays. There are plenty of additional opportunities for well-paid overtime, evening, weekend, and international travel available.

Your day-to-day will vary but would generally include a mix of:

• Installing, commissioning, and fault-finding on HV systems / switchgears
• Coordinating commissioning plans and schedules
• Developing commissioning procedures
• Conducting various tests using specialized equipment
• Reading and understanding electrical drawings and documentation
• Producing clear and professional job reports
• Ensuring quality control and technical compliance
• Facilitating safe working environments during high/low voltage operations

You’ll utilise your proven track record in the electrical distribution sector, HV certs (AP, SAP, etc) and experience in delivering efficient services to customers. You will already have good knowledge of H&S, and distribution safety rules.

Starting salary up to £75,000 plus OT you can expect a total of around £100,000 - £112,000 + company truck, private medical, pension, bonus, 25-days holiday + bank holiday and more.
