Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for a Hygiene Operative for a Client in the Llantrisant area.

Permanent position.

The successful applicant will perform safe and efficient washes of change parts and ancillary equipment in production.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

* Clean, sanitise and either reinstall or store change parts and ancillary equipment according to production requirements and procedures.

* Housekeeping/5S of the Wash Room areas.

* Inspect change parts and ancillary equipment before putting them back in service and escalate issues.

Qualifications and Experience - Essential.

* A good understanding and attitude towards health and safety and housekeeping.

* A good understanding and attitude towards GMP.

* A flexible attitude and willingness to work shifts.

Qualifications and Experience - Desirable.

* Experience of Wash Out and Changeover processes.

* Experience of working in a FMCG cosmetics or pharmaceutical environment.

* Good communicator and ability to understand simple production plans.

Essential Skill Requirements

* A self-starter, capable of working on their own initiative with minimal supervision.

* Rigor.

* A positive attitude towards continuous improvement.

* Good communication skills.

Other Skills/Abilities - Desirable

* Proactive.

* Good Time Management.

* Problem-solving ability.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday/morning and afternoon shifts.

The hourly rate is £11.44 an hour/plus 20% shift allowance.
