The Company

A fresh produce food production business with exciting growth plans, is looking for a Hygiene Supervisor. This high-care Norwich site will suit someone from a high care hygiene focused food manufacturing business.

The Role

Would you like to be responsible for the audit and training activities to uphold site compliance? The Hygiene Supervisor will play a key role in the cleaning of equipment and uphold agreed standards in line with the operational team.

You will ensure full compliance with current industry related legislation, and customer codes of practice. The hygiene supervisor will manage the company hygiene process by identifying the cleaning, disinfection, and sanitising requirements.

The Hygiene Supervisor will create, manage and update all CIC and hygiene SOPs, as well as selecting appropriate hygiene method dependant on the level of contamination and type of organism to be removed.

You will supervise and sign of deep cleans, and maintain all hygiene records and also investigation information.

You will also implement a monitoring program through the identification of key performance indicators such as concentration of chemicals, water flow and others.

The Person

  • The Hygiene Supervisor will have experience working in a high-care food manufacturing facility
  • You will be qualified to HACCP level 3 (training can be provided)
  • Comfortable working a late shift from 2pm - 10pm
  • You will have experience working in food manufacturing, ideally within a ready to eat food production environment
  • The Hygiene Specialist will have a sense of personal owner and responsibility, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • The ideal candidate will have exposure to supplying both branded and own label products (FMCG)
