Our client, a well-respected Lloyd’s insurance and reinsurance broker based in the heart of the City has an exciting permanent job opportunity available for an experienced IBA Accounts Assistant . This main purpose of this role is to maximise the cash flow into the business, whilst maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, brokers and technical teams.

As an IBA Accounts Assistant your core duties will include:

  • Updating the appropriate systems with daily cash receipts and payments
  • Allocating cash receipts against premiums and claims
  • Processing payments of premium and claims to clients and underwriters
  • Credit control, chasing of premium and claims from clients and underwriters
  • Producing daily and Monthly cash balance report
  • Running client money calculation report in time with FCA regulations
  • Month end closing and reporting
  • Producing renewal lists for departments
  • Communicating with clients and markets via email and telephone as required
  • Building excellent working relationships with the claims, technical and broking departments
  • Adhering to FCA rules and company policies and procedures

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will have extensive experience working in a similar role within the insurance/Lloyd’s market and be able to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved.
