Identity and Access Management Engineer

Gloucestershire Contract Day Rate - £450 - £550 inside IR35

We're currently seeking an ambitious IdAM Engineer to work with our exceptional client in a secure environment, supporting challenging and highly rewarding projects.

This contract role will require an active DV clearance. The opportunity is available onsite in Gloucestershire.

To work as part of a dedicated Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Live Services team in maintaining and monitoring key components of the Identity Infrastructure. Ensure all supported components provide the level of availability and capacity as required. Provide subject matter expertise in various areas and contribute to a continuous service improvement ethos within the team.

The role will also be required to provide technical support to various project streams. Engage with external suppliers ensuring the organisation receives value from these relationships.

Responsibilities

* Provide support to Windows Active Directory Domain Services and security infrastructure in a varied and growing IT environment.

* Liaise with other teams in both the Support and Project areas to progress and implement changes and tasks.

* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support of the Active Directory Domain Services in all corporate environments and provide support for Privileged User Account Management and corporate IdAM solutions.

* Respond with 2nd and 3rd line support for incidents and IT service requests; take ownership of problems and resolve calls logged with the team. Assist with proactive monitoring and daily checks to avert incidents.

* Follow the corporate change process and ensure implementation of changes in accordance with processes.

* Help to maintain the integrity of the Identity Management services; follow industry standards and recommended designs and best practices by vendors such as Microsoft.

* Due to the demands and fast paced environment, there may be occasions to work outside of normal working hours in support of, for example disaster recovery tests or critical project changes.

Experience

* Minimum of 3 years+ experience and certification in administering Windows Server infrastructure hosting environment (2008/2012/2016/2019).

* Working experience of administering Linux Systems.

* Experience of working with Two Factor Authentication (RSA) and PKI/Certificate technologies.

* Working knowledge of PowerShell and experience in developing automated processes.

* Experience administering DNS and DHCP.

* Good working knowledge of firewalls and network protocols.

* Knowledge of system security, system integration principles and technologies.

* Disaster recovery planning and testing.

* Experience installing, upgrading and/or managing Forefront Identity Manager/Microsoft Identity Manager.
