Reed Financial Services are pleased to to be representing a leading Financial Planning firm in Exeter, who seek a confident individual to collaborate with Financial Planners, Paraplanners, and other colleagues to elevate the experience of their Wealth Management Service clients. Internally, they refer to this role as 'Client Executive', however suitably experienced candidates may currently be in an Assistant, Client Executive, Client Liaison, Administrator, or Coordinator position within the Financial Planning/IFA or Financial Services sector. 

This position requires 3 days per week working in our Exeter office with the option to work from home for the remainder. 

What you'll be doing day to day

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling all incoming calls/ emails in a professional and efficient manner
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the firms Financial Planning’s service proposition, operational processes and procedures
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships across there offices and with external professional connections
  • Manage planner diaries and organise client meetings as required
  • Proactively support the onboarding of new clients
  • Prepare and proactively support the timely delivery of the annual review service
  • Take responsibility for tasks and ensure accurate completion within expected timescales and to the highest quality
  • Contribute to process and quality improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate excellent time management
  • Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes
  • Follow appropriate ethical standards within the firm in line with company values
  • Adhere to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rules
  • Comply with Consumer Duty, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), Training & Competence (T&C) and, financial crime procedures (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud, and corruption)

About you

You are looking for a role that is heavily focused on building and maintaining excellent working client relationships. Working as a team with Financial Planners to provide excellent service to our clients. 

  • Experience in a client facing support role within a financial service setting
  • Good working knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent diary management, planning and organisational skills
  • Professional, articulate, and confident in approach
  • Commercially astute
  • Keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mind
  • Empathetic and patient, when dealing with difficult situations
  • Organised and able to plan time efficiently to meet deadlines
