Are you an experienced Paralegal? Do you have an interest in Immigration Law and a genuine desire to develop? If so this role could be for you.
My client, based in Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their Immigration Team on a permanent basis.
Benefits:
- Salary up to £26,000 dependant on experience
- Hours - Monday - Thursday 09:00am to 17:30pm and Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm
- 37hrs per week
- Location - Sheldon
- 33 Days holiday - Pro Rota (Inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents
- Communicate with clients regarding case status and requests for additional information
- Prepare and submit visa applications with the appropriate government agencies
- Research and review immigration laws and regulations
- Organise case files and maintain the firm's case management system
- Attend client meetings, take instructions and assist with client intake
Skills & Experience required
- 2 years' experience working in immigration law either as a Paralegal or Newly qualifiedsolicitor.
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software such as LexisNexis or Westlaw
- Have a passion for immigration law
- Willing to be office based
