The Role

This role is for a person with at least 2 years' experience working within the legal sector or similar, especially on immigration and the main responsibilities will be to support EEA nations with EUSS applications (required OISC Level 1) and/or signpost clients from the rest of the world who require a high level of immigration advice to the right services, managing a caseload of around 40 cases. The day-to-day job will include working from either our main office (Mallards), our second hostel (Victoria st) or the third hostel (Herschel st - opening in progress) and covering the support required for the residents, looking after the building and ensuring the any incidents/issues are reported/addressed. Every now and then (no more than once a week) joining the outreach sessions together with a rough sleeper officer. Building and maintaining a very good relationship with partner agencies, liaising with ASC, Police, Turning point, and supporting clients to attend their immigration appointments Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to service's needs. Reports directly to the Outreach coordinator.

All roles are office based and would like them to be part of our plans to run supported accommodations for rough sleepers and also joining from time to time, to outreach sessions (early morning stating 5 am finishing 14:00 or late nights stating 5 pm and finishing 00:00). This means, they will be based in different locations across central Slough. The candidates will have to have access to a personal vehicle for business use (and business insurance) to be able to fulfil the role.
