Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Freight Forwarding Import / Export Manager who has experience with dealing with Air and Roadfreight shipments. The company are a well-established privately owned Freight Forwarder based in the Slough area.

An experienced Import and Export to oversee and manage all aspects of our import and export operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:-

Coordinate and manage the end-to-end import and export process, including documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery (fully hands on).

• Ensure compliance with all relevant import and export regulations, including customs.

• Stay up to date on changes in customs regulations

• Prepare and submit customs documentation, including import/export declarations, permits, licenses, and certificates of origin.

• Lead and motivate the Import and Export team

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding import and export shipments.

Key Skills:-

• Experience in import/export operations

Strong knowledge of customs regulations

Professional and positive

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent customer service

Knowledge of CDS and Customer knowledge is essential.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
