Berry Recruitment are looking for an Import Co-ordinator to join one of the UK's leading providers of international freight and transport logistics services based in Nursling.

This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 with a 1 hour lunch break.

Salary is between £24,000 and £25,000 depending on experience.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Freight Forwarding department with all import tasks.

Main Duties:

  • Preparation of documentation ensuring all is correct
  • Raising invoices and quotations
  • Deal with import entries in line with HMRC
  • Liaise with clients, shipping lines and 3rd parties and build strong relationships
  • Gaining full understanding of Bonded warehouse operation and inbound logistics
  • Assist with HMRC and client audits
  • General admin duties

Training will be provided on all aspects of this role!

Candidate Skills:

  • Freight forwarding background is desirable but not essential
  • Administration experience is essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office - in particular Excel
