My Client is an international shipping and freight organisation and is seeking to strengthen its Import/export department with the appointment of an experienced Import Coordinator.

As the Import Coordinator you will be responsible for the following ;-

Complete the custom procedures with total accuracy ensuring that deadlines are met both internally and those defined by customs.

• Generate accurate invoice to client for all shipment related charges

• Obtain and communicate internally and externally all necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met

• Ensure documentation is Up-to-date, loaded correctly and make your Team Leader or Manager aware of any issues that may arise

• Proactively action duties on a daily basis, supporting the team during times of absence or holidays.

• Liaise with the UK importer/Shipper all the way through to the delivery.

• Sharing knowledge within the team and continually improving processes.

• Liaise with overseas partners to arrange collections and deliveries.

• Organise and plan flight schedules.

You will be an accomplished Import Coordinator with experience working within the importing and exporting

You will be able to work under pressure, a strong eye for detail and be proficient using MS office programmes including Outlook, Excel and word.

A dedication to provide excellent customer service, strong organisation skillset.

This role will be busy and require a strong eye for detail is required and will suit someone who has exceptional organisational skills.
