Import & Export Coordinator
Job Title: Import & Export Coordinator
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - 4pm Friday
Location: Trafford Park M17
Salary £24,000 - £26,000
Temporary to permanent:
Key Duties:
- Devise shipping contracts with suppliers based on communication with Purchasing teams.
- Provide technical advice on shipping contracts/processes to Purchasing teams as required
- Take necessary action in accordance with specific contract when product is confirmed to be 'in transit'.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to confirm 'receipt' of product within UK.
- Ensure invoices are passed at the appropriate time for payment.
- Ensure record of stock is created for relevant business unit.
- Accurate uplifts application and maintenance.
- Coordination of stock movements from quay to site/directs.
- Accurate data input and maintenance on the system.
- Creation of export documents as and when required by the Import & Export Manager and Export Sales Manager.
- Ensure all customs entries are completed correctly and compliantly.

Qualifications required
- Good level of education with Maths and English GCSE minimum (essential).
- Computer literate (essential).
- Valid UK driving license.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Knowledge of International procurement contracts, shipping documentation, shipping procedures, understand overseas payments.
- Ability to work to deadlines maintaining accurate/quality information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organised.
- Planning.
- Attention to detail.
