Seafast Logistics, part of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Import Operations Assistant to join our team in Felixstowe. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth import processes for our customers.

About You:

  • You will have 1 - 2 years relevant experience.
  • You are a strong communicator, both internally and externally.
  • You maintain a positive attitude and professional approach at all times.
  • You are a team player who is adaptable and embraces change.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • You are proficient in MS Office and eager to learn relevant customs and port systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our import customers.
  • Process import clearances efficiently within a 2-hour turnaround time.
  • Assist with raising T1 entries.
  • Accurately complete CHEDs/IPAFFs pre-notifications.
  • Arrange import declarations.
  • Claim UCNs from the port system.
  • Complete assigned training courses.
  • Manage and update job file costs and charges.
  • Generate duty invoices promptly.
