• Oversee the processing of SDLT refund cases from start to finish, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of client documentation to determine eligibility for SDLT refunds.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, offering expert advice and regular updates on case progress.
• Prepare and submit accurate refund claims to HMRC, maintaining meticulous records and documentation.
• Generate detailed reports on case outcomes and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with team members, sharing knowledge and best practices, and mentor junior staff to enhance their professional development.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and SDLT regulations, and identify opportunities for process improvements.

• A robust background in tax and/or law, with a focus on SDLT preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Law, Accounting, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications in tax are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in case management software and tools.
