Hampton College is an established, successful, all-through school, which formed its own multi-academy trust (Hampton Academies Trust - HAT) in 2014. The Trust is also the education provider for the neighbouring secondary school, Hampton Gardens School and Hampton Lakes Primary School, which opened in September 2019. In 2020, Dogsthorpe Infant School joined our trust. HAT schools have very close links and some shared staff.

Hampton College currently serves the community of Hampton, on the southern outskirts of the city of Peterborough and has good links to Cambridge and Stamford. Hampton Gardens School serves the neighbouring Cambridgeshire village of Yaxley, as well new housing being added to the Hampton East development, where Hampton Lakes Primary School is located.

Inclusion Manager

We currently have a vacancy for an Inclusion Manager to join the team supporting students at Hampton College Secondary School. The Inclusion Manager will be responsible for the running of the Inclusion Room at Hampton College and support the Deputy Head of School and wider senior leaders with the school’s behaviour systems. This is a key role at Hampton College which contributes to raising standards by providing appropriate levels of support to our students.

The successful candidate will need to possess strong skills in behaviour management and have an ability to command respect from young people, these are both prerequisites in this role. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills along with an adaptable approach, as the role will also involve regular liaison with staff throughout the school.

The Inclusion manager role at Hampton College is incredibly important and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring students return to lessons and make more positive choices as well a liaising with staff and conducting restoratives.

Working Hours:

37 hours per week / term time plus 2 days

8.15am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (with a 45 minute unpaid break)

8.15am - 4.00pm Friday (with a 45 minute unpaid break)

Salary:

(Grade 8 £29,777 - £33,027 FTE)

Actual salary based on 37 hours per week, Term time only + 2 days:

Actiual salary from: £25,107 to £27,848 per annum
