We are looking for an Independent Living Service Manager based in Welwyn Garden city.

Rate: £27 - 28.64/hr

Hours: 37.5 per week

Temp contract

Hybrid (1-2days per week at Welwyn Garden City Office)

Role:

* To oversee and be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of a high quality sheltered housing service across a number of different schemes owned by the council. The post holder will be expected to ensure delivery of cost effective and customer focused service which enables older and vulnerable people in the community to live fulfilling, healthy and independent lives.

* To strategically oversee the overall delivery of effective landlord and support services within schemes and in the communities.

* To drive continuous improvement across all services by putting in place strategies and mechanisms for delivering improvements.

* To develop services and partnerships with internal teams and external agencies to achieve the council's objectives, complying with relevant national and local performance standards and to deliver strong performance management across the wider Independent Living Team.

5 key requirements that we are looking at from the role profile are:

* Experience in the living/housing services

* Change Agent experience highly desirable

* Experience and Knowledge of Sheltered housing services

* Experience working with the Locata Homelessness Case management system (HPA2)

* High level IT skills and ability to write complex and detailed letters and emails
