Indirect Tax Manager

An Indirect Tax Manager who will oversee all VAT and Indirect Tax related activity within the business. Ensuring Compliance with VAT regulations and International Accounting standards.

A global industrial company looking for an indirect tax manager.

Description

• Oversee and manage all VAT/indirect tax activities
• Ensure global VAT compliance
• Reconciliation of General ledger sales to reported VAT sales.
• Work closely with the wider finance team.
• Minimise Indirect Tax risks
• Risk management
• Deliver training to the wider business around indirect tax and VAT, including non-tax technical audiences
• Keep up to date with the latest indirect tax legislation
• Line management of a junior staff member
• Lead/support VAT and indirect tax audits and investigations.
• Lead on VAT projects and act as first POC for indirect tax queries across the group

Profile

• Strong indirect tax technical knowledge across both compliance and the ability to deliver adhoc project work
• Comfortable communicating indirect tax information to others
• Ideally qualified e.g. ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA
• Strong analysis skills and using various finance software
• Relevant experience gained in either industry or practice
• Desire for continuous improvement and confidence to challenge processes

Job Offer

£55-£70k + circa £5k car allowance + 30% bonus as well as some other attractive benefits e.g. a strong pension and share options. Flexible working circa 2/3 days a week on-site.
