Industrial Engineer

Industrial Engineer - £32 per hour Inside IR35 -12 Months (extensions highly likely) - Bristol - Standard 35 hours per week (between 7am - 7pm) - Onsite - One stage F2F interview - Sector: Aerospace and Defence

Yolk Recruitment are searching for an Industrial Engineer to work with a renowned Aerospace company that is at the forefront of space exploration and travel.

The successful candidate will work with suppliers around the world and be a key interface with the UK design engineering team on product change activities.

Flexibility and some travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage in the Continuous Product Development processes, applying expertise in concurrent engineering and industrialisation aspects
• Understand and influence cost drivers of a particular product or work packages
• Ensure integration, architecture and engagement of the wider business network
• To proactively manage risks and opportunities in an efficient and effective manner.
• Drawing Sign Off, Query Note validation, Tooling Asset Management
• Seek continuous improvement to suppliers capability be that product or process, standardising and harmonising across the business,
• Maintain associated technical documentation and seek to assure supplier compliance

Essentials

• Project Management/ Personnel experience
• Milestone management
• Sitting in design reviews.
• Understanding of drawings
• Experience in CAD
