Industrial Sewing Machinist

Miles Recruitment are hiring for an Industrial Sewing Machinist/ Fabric Cutter to join a growing company, who due to their recent successes in their sector, have an increased workload and opportunities.

As an Industrial Sewing Machinist/ Fabric Cutter, you will be involved in producing high-quality sewn products according to specifications whilst maintaining efficiency. Due to increased demand of the clients products, you will contribute to the production of a variety of items. Your main duties include:

• Sewing
• Helping with the CNC machine loading and unloading
• Cutting, stapling, and scoring fabric
• Packing and preparing products for shipping
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Other tasks as required

To excel as an Industrial Sewing Machinist, it is desired that you have proven experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Additionally to this, other desirable attributes include:

• Proficiency in operating various types of industrial machinery.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Salary: From £12 p/h
Hours: 39 p/w
