Job Title: Industrial Sewing Machinist

Location: Milton Keynes MK19 6dt (Own transport required as not on a bus route.)

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Hours: 7.30 am -3.30 pm (Mon-Fri) 37.5 hrs per week

Salary: £14.00-£15.00.per hour

Our client is the leading producer of high-quality vehicle screen covers and other products. They are looking for a skilled Industrial Sewing Machinist to join their small production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing and working in a fast-paced environment. We are based on a quiet, secure industrial estate, and all of our sewing machines are very new and top quality.

Due to Insurance requirements, we operate a non-smoking workplace. 19

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of sewing machines to produce our products to the required quality.
• Interpret and read order forms to ensure the correct items are sewn together.
• Confidently use both flatbed and walking foot machines.
• Inspect sewn products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform cleaning and oiling of sewing machines as required.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sewing Machinist.
• Proficiency in sewing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Good physical condition and strength to handle manual tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
