Salary: Circa £48,500 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Minimum 2 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen in an expanding team that is responsible for technical validation of the external supply chain to ensure successful delivery of parts required for full rate Production.
This opportunity requires an individual who has experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Project delivery.
Lead project Industrial Validation Plan execution and reporting.
Handling a portfolio of suppliers on a day to day basis.
Support suppliers to ensure that they develop robust manufacturing systems and control plans, to enable the capability to deliver on-quality, on-time and on-cost in series production.
Undertake Industrial Validation activities such as: Process FMEAs, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, Production Readiness Reviews in preparation for series production.
Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing & supply chain risks and put in place associated improvement and mitigation plans
Collaborating and supporting a multi-functional team.
What we're looking for from you:
A Manufacturing Engineering biased professional with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques, with an appreciation for project delivery/project management.
Experience of manufacturing & New Product Introduction (NPI) in Aerospace or Defence is desirable.
Proficient in Industrial Validation tools such as: Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Process FMEAs, Measurement System Analysis, Process Mapping, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, Production Readiness Reviews.
Strong analytical skills; ability to run reports in Excel, use SAP QM system, and document management tools
Practitioner of problem solving and improvement toolsets
Excellent communication skills, requiring close working with Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organisations.
Ability to travel and work in a team environment
