Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in the realm of Information Security, contributing to the safeguarding of critical services within the public sector?

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will provide our growing Information Security function with crucial administrative support by taking ownership of incoming queries and directing those more complex requests to the appropriate area of the team whenever required, to prevent costly delays to projects and initiatives.

This hybrid role will be predominantly based from home however, there is a requirement to visit the new office set in Leeds as and when needed. This will average at approximately once or twice a month across the year.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide the Chief Information Security Officer with administrative support including managing their diary and inbox
  • Act as a point of contact for the Information Security function develop strong relationships across the business
  • Managing the document library containing policies, processes and guidance on SharePoint
  • Making sure reports and trackers are updated when due for review and renewal
  • Planning agendas and arranging governance meetings, as well as taking and distributing the minutes
  • Drive a culture of engagement and collaboration by supporting the broader team with Intranet maintenance, invoicing and record keeping

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a coordination role balancing the priorities of multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Well developed administrative and reporting skills
  • Strong and proactive organisation skills to manage simultaneous high volume tasks
  • Previous experience of taking ownership of shared inboxes and diary management
  • A flexible approach and able to drop everything to work on something urgent

It would be great if you had:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Previous experience in an Information Security setting
