Marshall Wolfe is proud to be supporting a global technology company in their search for an experienced IT infrastructure Engineering specialist with strong IP networking fundamentals for an initial 6-month contract (Inside IR35). The role is based in their Leeds office. This is a office-based role, and the candidate must be committed to 5 days on-site per week. The role would be suitable for someone with a balance of networking and linux skills, and from 4 - 6 years experience.

The main responsibility would be to support and implement a complex IP migration programme, configuring and deploying network and computing components for a government platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement technical solutions, resolving system issues.
  • Assist in technical decisions and architecture choices.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and resolve technical defects.
  • Maintain and monitor system performance.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Security Clearance (SC level) eligibility
  • IP networking fundamentals
  • Windows/Linux server expertise
  • IT security & troubleshooting
  • Basic command-line knowledge (Bash, PowerShell)
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Windows Server, Oracle databases, Cisco accreditation, Scripting skills
