Role: Infrastructure Specialist
Location: Lincolnshire - 2 days a week
Salary: Up to 45k


Introduction

My client - a winning technology partner to the NHS and other healthcare organizations, are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to join our service desk team in Lincolnshire.

This role involves supporting internal infrastructure and resolving customer issues related to our applications. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, with strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft systems, SQL Server, and Cisco networking.

Skills

Essential

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft OS, SQL Server, remote management (Intune, ManageEngine), Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Cisco networking, and firewalls.
  • Experience in automating tasks and working with SaaS, IaaS, and cloud hosting.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
  • Hardware management skills.

Advantageous

  • Experience with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials.
  • Relevant degree or certifications in Cyber Security, Azure, ITIL.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • ITIL-compliant service delivery experience.
  • Experience in vulnerability scanning and resolution.
