Infrastructure Engineer

Northampton (Hybrid)

£45,000 - £55,000

VIQU are seeking a Infrastructure Engineer to join Managed Service Provider IT business that specialise in providing a broad spectrum of IT services and solutions, from IT consulting and system integrations to cloud services and e-commerce solutions.

As a Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering advanced technical assistance to clients, ensuring the swift handling of incidents, service requests, and updates. Acting as a key escalation point for lower-tier support, you'll maintain effective communication channels.

The position is hybrid with a requirement to be onsite twice a month and within an hour of Kettering.

Requirements of the Infrastructure Engineer:

-          Minimum 3+ years as a 3rd line technical support in an MSP.

-          Proficient in Azure, Windows Server, VMWare and M365.

-          Proven experience with core Infrastructure technologies, including Terminal Services, IIS, SharePoint, firewalls, databases, backup, and security software.

-          Good knowledge of VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.

-          Ability to excel in a busy helpdesk environment.
