Injection Mould Tool Design Engineer | Witney | £50,000pa plus bonus & benefits:
  

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Injection Mould Tool Design Engineer to join a well-established specialist manufacturer in the Witney area. With growth plans to scale their £100m turnover business to over £200m over the next 5 years, this role is a key component to ensure that their targets are met by being responsible for all Tooling design and commissioning.
  
  
The Injection Mould Tool Design Engineer will form part of a small team whose remit is to deliver all new and existing mould tooling design, tooling improvement and obsolescence & replacement. You will be instrumental in helping the NPI process from a tooling aspect. This role will have some international travel, mainly to Europe and China to meet tooling suppliers.   
  
  
The successful Injection Mould Tool Design Engineer will need the following experience and skills:
  • Relevant machinery & tooling design qualifications
  • Tooling Design & Manufacture
  • Design of Injection mould tools
  • DFM
  • Factory design & manufacturing processes
  • Plastic Injection Moulding
Desirable:
  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Manufacturing Automation including:
  • PLC control systems
  • Robotics
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
