We are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter. You will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of injection moulding machines, ensuring that they run efficiently and produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup: Prepare and set up injection moulding machines, moulds, and auxiliary equipment for production runs according to established guidelines and production schedules.

Process Optimisation: Monitor and adjust machine parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure optimal product quality and production efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality standards, making adjustments as necessary during production to maintain quality.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to mould, machine, and production processes to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance activities, as well as any process or material changes.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Training: Assist in training and mentoring junior machine operators and setters as needed.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical and process-related issues.

We are looking for someone with experience working with a variety of different materials.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £34,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

This is shift work the hours are the following: 6-2,2-10,10-6 on Monday-Thursday with Friday’s shift being 6-1,1-8,-8-3.
