Job Title: Ink Technician

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £30k – 31,500k

Aspion are currently looking for an ink Technician to join a reputable company win the greater Manchester area offering an immediate start for the right candidate.

The Ink Technician is responsible for the preparation, formulation, and maintenance of ink for various printing processes. This role involves ensuring that all ink meets quality standards, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with production teams to optimize ink usage and performance.

Duties

  • Formulate and prepare ink batches according to specified recipes and production requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on ink formulations to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications.

  • Identify and resolve ink-related issues during production runs, collaborating with operators to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of ink formulations, batch numbers, and production quantities.
  • Monitor ink inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management.

Experience

  • Knowledge of working with print colors
  • Understanding of continuous improvement techniques
  • Colour matching experience

Shift pattern continental covering 12 hour shifts.
