Role Overview: Imperium Financial Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Insolvency Solicitor on behalf of one of the leading legal firms in Chester. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and support on a range of insolvency matters, contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a wide range of insolvency issues, including corporate restructuring, administration, liquidation, and bankruptcy.
- Handle complex insolvency litigation, representing clients in court and managing dispute resolutions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to insolvency and restructuring cases.
- Work closely with insolvency practitioners, accountants, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies for asset recovery and creditor repayment.
- Conduct thorough legal research to stay updated on the latest insolvency laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on risk management and compliance with insolvency legislation.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and a high level of service.
- Support the business development efforts of the firm by identifying new opportunities and contributing to marketing initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in insolvency law.
- Proven track record of managing complex insolvency cases and litigation.
- Strong understanding of insolvency legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management is desirable.
