Long established Broker based in Brentwood.

The opportunity for an Insurance Account Handler is to look after a book of clients and handle HNW Personal Lines Business.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of renewal schedules, contacting clients prior to renewal within required timescales.
  • Negotiate alternative quotes - prior to renewal dates - where appropriate.
  • Acting as broking assistant to the private client account executive.
  • Dealing with all documentation, invoices, credit notes, etc. ensuring a smooth and trouble-free renewal for the client.
  • Handling claims efficiently and within regulatory timescales time scales.
  • Fostering good relationships with insurance companies and third parties.
  • Ensuring that the delegated authority under agency agreements are not exceeded
  • Operating an effective credit control system and report as required.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and providing ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Insurance industry certifications (e.g. Cert CII or Dip CII are welcomed).
