Job Title: Claims Handler – Motor, Credit Hire & Personal Injury

Location: Tamworth - Hybrid Position

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our dynamic insurance firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing claims within motor, credit hire, and personal injury sectors. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage claims from initiation to settlement
  • Liaise with policyholders, third parties, and professionals to gather information and negotiate settlements
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of claims in accordance with company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in claims handling, specifically within motor, credit hire, and personal injury
  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry and claims processes
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management software
