Job title: Insurance Sales Advisor

Salary: to £27,000 plus market leading bonus

Location: Glasgow

Purpose of the role:

Working as part of a branch network, you will be responsible for handling new and existing insurance risks for this sector leading insurance broker. This business is growing fast, and they are on the lookout for experienced (Insurance or Taxi Industry) sales and customer service staff to join the team in Glasgow. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance and support to customers both face to face and over the telephone.
  • Specialising in the local area, providing quotations to taxi drivers, setting up and maintaining links with bases, fleet owners etc.
  • General administration including renewals, mid-term adjustments, extensions to covers, invoicing and handling client queries.
  • Quality control and ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Checking and issuing documentation to clients.
  • Building relationships with new and existing clients. 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years insurance sales experience - ideally motor vehicle.
  • Fluency and confidence in dealing with customers over the phone and face to face.
  • Ability and flexibility to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to negotiate with insurers.
