Software Integration Engineer

Hillington – Hybrid (2 days WFH, 3 in office)

£45K DOE

Be-IT are delighted to be recruiting for their Fintech client on the lookout for a Software Integration Engineer.  As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge solutions for clients in the electronic trading industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead customer-facing implementation projects, ensuring their success.
• Work on complex, high-volume, real-time systems and application integration projects for financial services clients.
• Design innovative solutions to meet emerging business needs.
• Contribute to best practices evolution.
• Perform custom integration tasks.
• Coordinate with the software development team for bug fixes and enhancements.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Software Delivery or Integration Engineering.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Organised, independent thinker who proactively seeks help to maximize efficiency.
• Experience with Linux, Bash, and scripting.
• Familiarity with network technologies, TCP.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Extra Brownie Points for:

• Experience with Java and Python (coding or deployment).
• Familiarity with network tap/span/aggregation, Wireshark/tcpdump/BPF.
• Integration experience with Kafka, Keycloak, SSO, WebAuth.
• Experience with Grafana/data visualization.
• Database experience.
• Knowledge of wire protocols.
