An opportunity for an Interim Senior Strategic Health and Social Care Programme Lead has arisen with a London Borough with an anticipated contract length of up to 9 months paying £650 outside of IR35. It is essential that you have Local Government ASC transformation and commissioning experience at a significant level and are able to demonstrate similar previous experience in another Council previously.

The role

The successful candidate will lead on developments and transformation in Adult Social Care and the potential insourcing of external services, ensuring they integrate and transition smoothly into the Adult Social Care Service. You will lead on and contribute to the Adult Social Care Transformation programme and in particular areas prevention and demand management. In addition you will work with senior leaders in the Council to develop and shape the future of the commissioning service in line with the Council Transformation Programmes for Adult Social Care, Children's Social Care, Education and Public Health.

We are looking for someone with a background and experience in Adult Social Care and preferably Children's Social Care in addition. The successful candidate will have significant experience of commissioning services and also have worked within a transformation and change context.
