We are seeking an Agricultural Advisor to join our high-performing team on an interim basis. The role involves playing a key part in the recycling and disposal of Bioresource products within a defined geographical area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with farming customers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and potentially selling and marketing Bioresource products. A driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and develop the landbank to ensure sufficient land is available for compliant recycling of Bioresource products.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with farming customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Offer tailor-made Bioresource product and agronomic advice relevant to farming practices.
  • Coordinate and supervise recycling operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Conduct operational and health and safety audits on contractors.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including the public, customers, and regulators.
  • Manage the risk of all recycling activities and report any pollution incidents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Fundamental understanding of UK farming practices.
  • Experience in farm advisory or sales within agriculture or a related industry.
  • FACTS qualified/trained or equivalent, or able to achieve qualification within one year of appointment.
  • Knowledge of regulations and Codes of Practice related to recycling products to agriculture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and mapping software such as ArcGIS.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Degree or relevant qualification in a related field.
