Interim Capital Procurement Manager:

Rate: £500 p/d inside IR35

Location: London (Hybrid)

Client: Major public sector infrastructure organisation

About the role:

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of a civils corrective works framework, encompassing £200m of expenditure over an 8-year period. This framework will address repairs and remedial works for critical civil assets such as bridges, structures, tunnels, and drainage systems.

With the Procurement Strategy already approved, you will oversee the entire procurement process through to the award of the framework. This includes finalizing procurement documentation, collaborating with stakeholders such as asset managers and engineering teams, and serving as the primary contact with Legal for finalizing contract schedules. Additionally, you will lead the re-tendering of a separate bridges and structures planned maintenance contract valued at £80m over the next 8 years.

Key Requirements:

• Experienced in planning and delivering procurements in an underground/railway environment, asset management business, or in a highly regulated industry with health and safety at its core.
• Previous experience of working within the EU Regulations for public sector and utilities procurement
• Experienced in utilisation of specialist IT systems for the management of sourcing
